Subject: How AI Powers Our Mission—and What It Means for All of Us

___________________

Team,

Over the past year, we’ve made bold moves to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) into how we work—because doing so is essential to delivering on our mission:

Ensuring providers get paid accurately, quickly, and transparently for the critical care they deliver.

At Aspirion, AI is not a buzzword or a knee jerk reaction, it is a deliberate action that started over 2 years ago with our acquisition of Infinia ML and collaborative efforts with enterprise subject matter experts that built the solutions we’re integrating today. AI is a capability that helps us scale our expertise, enables us to respond faster to payers that are using AI to rapidly deny claims, and unlocks new levels of efficiency that benefit both our hospital and health system clients and our company.

Why AI Is Core to Our Strategy

  • Mission Alignment: AI helps us do what we’ve always believed in—recover more revenue for clients, leverage our expertise/experts, reduce administrative burdens, and make healthcare more affordable and accessible. Only with AI can we pursue claims that were previously not cost-effective to work and scale rapidly to process placements at any level.
  • Client Expectations: Our clients need speed, insight, and innovation to ensure they are correctly paid for the work they have done. AI paired with our subject matter expertise helps us meet and exceed those expectations.
  • Industry Shift: Payers are deploying AI to create new hurdles. We’re using AI to leap over them. It’s how we stay one step ahead!

Why We’re Winning

Thanks to your hard work, we’ve had record-breaking bookings, new technology & AI rollouts, record-breaking operational performance (throughput, overturn rates, speed to payments), record-breaking client expansions, and strong client references. Our investments in platforms like DocIQ and automation are paying off for Aspirion and, more importantly, for our clients.

With this progress comes significant change and responsibility.

Navigating Change Together

AI has and will continue to replace manual work. That’s real—and it’s hard. People who have contributed meaningfully may find their roles shifting or sunsetting altogether. We have and will continue to acknowledge that with respect, empathy, and action.

At the same time, integrating AI and our success in the market creates new opportunities and new roles. We need to retain and grow the best talent—those who bring irreplaceable judgment, creativity, and client insight. These are the people who will work with our AI system to train it, monitor it, handle exceptions, grow it, and do the deeply human work that no machine can.

Our workforce needs will change, and while difficult, those changes are signs of successful execution of our strategy and our mission.

Our Commitment

  • We will always center our decisions on our mission to get providers paid accurately, quickly, and transparently for the critical care they deliver.
  • We will prioritize transparency so you understand where we’re headed and what it means for your career.

Your Role: Engage in the Change

As AI reshapes how we work, every teammate has an important role in helping us adapt and lead. Here’s how you can contribute:

  • Stay Curious: Explore the AI tools available in your area. Attend demos, ask questions, and learn how they can elevate your work.
  • Spot Opportunities: Identify where AI can remove repetitive tasks or accelerate results. Share your ideas—they help us innovate and get clients paid faster.
  • Deepen Your Expertise: AI enhances, not replaces, human judgment. Continue strengthening your understanding of payer behavior, client needs, and operational excellence—our enduring advantage.
  • Invest in Learning: Take advantage of training, pilots, and reskilling opportunities to build fluency in AI-enabled processes.
  • Growth mindset: The work ahead will stretch us—and that’s how we grow. Approach change with curiosity, empathy, and a commitment to getting better for our clients and each other.

Let me be clear: AI does not replace our mission. It powers it.

We win when we combine the best of technology with the best of people—and we will not compromise on either.

Thank you for your resilience, your ambition, and your belief in our future.

Let’s keep building it—together.

Nick
